laundry amongst other things

At the moment, my laundry is out of control.  I wouldn't be surprised if it came to life, attacked me in my sleep, and then proceed to walk out the door.  The washer and dryer has been out of commission for almost three weeks now, and I have exhausted almost a good third of my wearable daily wardrobe and bought several packs of underwear.  I would do almost anything to avoid an unpleasant visit to the sketchy neighborhood washeteria.  Derek always tells me that I'm not homemaker material and I agree completely.  If being a homemaker means doing all the dirty work then I'm out.
